What was once a traditional driving range decorated with a variety of targets and objects to aim for from your hitting mat, has evolved into the quality short course known today as The National Short Course at GPC.

The National Short Course offers a world-class short course experience that is as challenging as it is fun, and is accessible for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Now available for public play, GPC is excited to offer a unique golf experience to everyone through The National Short Course!

This new Short Course offers a quick and convenient golf experience in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The National offers an alternative to a traditional round of golf, as a 9-hole round takes less than 40 minutes to complete, and a full 18 holes can be played in less than 90 minutes.

June 1 – October 31
Mon-Sat: 1pm – 9pm
Sun: 7am-12pm

November 1 – November 31
Wed: 7am – 12pm
Sat-Sun: 1pm – 4pm

$20/9 holes (approx. 40 min)
$35/18 holes (approx. 90 min)

Annual course membership:

Dress Code

Golfers are athletes and golf clothes have come a long way from the days of baggy shirts and heavy sweaters. We ask everyone to wear golf apparel while they play The National.

Time it Takes to Play

Lunch break? On your way home from work? Have a few hours in the morning on the weekend before the day gets started? The National Short Course takes approximately 40 minutes to play 9 holes, and 90 minutes or less for 18 holes. We understand some players are faster than others, that’s ok! We ask everyone to support one another in making the experience enjoyable for all by working together and allowing faster groups to play through if necessary.

Scorecard

There will be multiple routings for players to enjoy. The starter will explain which routing will be played each day.

Holes range from 25 to 100 yards.

Make a hole in one? Let the world know on social media and be sure to stop by the shop for something special to remember the moment. Your name will be added to the Ace Club and displayed at the facility.

I’m not a member, can I book a tee time?

Yes! However, if you aren’t an annual member, we ask that you please call the Pro Shop at 203-790-4653 to book your tee time. You are able to book tee times up to 48 hours in advance.
