What is the Player Development Index?
Two years ago we set out to work with the college programs across the country to identify what allows top college golfers – including the #1 player in the world – to play their best day in and day out. What we found was shocking!
It also led us to create the latest version of the Player Development Index and the game’s first tool that uses AI to combine the measurements of a player’s physical movement with their golf skills to create a true understanding of their game.
The Player Development Index assessment consists of:
123 Golf Shots
Ranging in difficulty from short putts to more difficult shots requiring precision and control of the golf ball, the golf athlete’s skills will be tested in a variety of situations.
17 Physical Screens
These physical movement screens and proficiencies represent an athlete’s overall physical function, relative strength and power.
