Dr. Kate Campbell
Physical Therapist
Kate Campbell, DPT, SCS, Cert. MDT, CSCS, completed both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. Her Bachelor’s of Science studies were in Exercise Physiology with minors in both Strength and Conditioning and Biology. Dr. Campbell has been awarded a Board Certification by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in Sports Physical Therapy, and is currently one of 18 Physical Therapists in the state of Connecticut with this distinction (only 4 are females). In 2010 she was certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, more commonly known as the McKenzie method. She is a Certified SportsmetricsTM Trainer, a program designed to teaching female athletes proper biomechanics to avoid ACL injuries. Since 2008, Dr. Campbell has specialized in fabricating custom foot orthotics, evaluating and casting patient’s feet through Stride Orthotics.
Kate was a Division 1 Cheerleader for the University of Delaware and cheered through grad school. She now coaches local cheerleading and in her spare time she enjoys golf with the family, running, training for and competing in triathlons, and chasing her three daughters, age 8, 5 and 1.
