Three Dimensional Printers

Three Dimensional Printers

Three dimensional printers are generally not words that are associated with golf equipment.  Recently I have read that they have made the first houses out of 3D printers that you can purchase and live in.  At the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week, Jason Dufner was spotted testing a Cobra Putter “Agera” that was made entirely of a 3D Printer.  It also says “Sik face technology” on the bottom, which likely indicates it uses the descending loft technology from Sik putters.  Of all the notable equipment testing this week at the API, this jumped out to me.  Other notes of interest include a flock of players testing MMT shafts, and VENTUS and Graphite Design continuing to make a strong presence in the shaft testing category.  As a reminder, unlike you, these players swap golf clubs in and out of their bag each and every week to adjust to the soil, wind, greens, weather and all types of factors.  The proper equipment gives them the best chance of winning at a high level!
