Performance Programs 

Train how the pros train The Performance Zone offers you a unique opportunity to advance your physical and mental performance to a higher level in a private, dedicated performance training environment.  From NFL Champions to NFL newcomers, MLB Champions to MLB All-Stars, PGA Tour major winners to Junior Club champion winners and NHL All-Stars to NHL Rookies, this is how they train and were it all begins.  You can now have access to a one of a kind training experience.  Our High School-College Prep program is designed for the serious high school athlete, providing educational training in a safe, competitive and fun environment.   

-Program Outline-

  • 5 Elements of Success for Peak Performance;  these components are smoothly integrated into our training and training philosophy
    1. Athletes desire to improve their performance
    2. Scientific Coaching, understanding the proper way of  performance training with 3D Motion Capture with Biomechanical feedback, knowledge of the why before how
    3. Mental aspects of competition and self awareness
    4. Nutrition and healthy eating awareness
    5. Performance Coaching,    
      • Regeneration-understanding how to recover from training and competition
      • Proper conditioning to improve capacity
      • Flexibility, maintaining or restoring normal function of soft tissue and joints
      • Speed drills to improve skills in linear and multi-directional running
      • Strength, proper training for the athlete in any sport
      • Nutrition, post workout shake provided to enhance muscle recovery

 

  • 1 Full time Coach and 1 Assistant Coach depending on ratio
  • One hour training sessions for high school players, one hour and half training session for college athletes. ( we will be limiting class to 8 players per session) Monday-Friday 3:30 – 5:00pm.  Two hour training sessions for Professional Athlete’s.  Athlete must schedule times with Coach.
  • 10 sessions, 20 sessions, 40 sessions, 60 sessions and 1 year packages available
  • Athletes will train in group setting unless otherwise stipulated
  • Our goal is to provide proper training that decreases potential injuries for our athletes, incorporating pre-habilitative components to improve the following:

 

    1. Hip and Ankle Stability
    2. Shoulder Stability
    3. Posture
    4. Core strength and Stabiliy
    5. Balance and Proprioception

 

  • Field Testing can include:
    • Hight, Weight and Functional Movement Screen
    • Vertical Jump, Broad Jump,  Shuttle Run
    • 40 yard sprints, split  times 10 & 20 yards
  • The Performance Zone t-shirt to each player

 

Outline of Performance Program 

The Athlete’s Performance Zone’s goal is to provide the finest methods, coaching and facilities to efficiently and ethically enhance our athletes’ performance.   

We have effectively created a Four Phase Program that will enhance our athletes’ performance while reducing their risk of injury during work outs and while performing. TAPZ methods are enhancing performance efficiency of movement making each athlete fundamentally stronger, faster and more agile.  We want our athletes’ to play better, move better, recuperate faster from games and work outs while reducing the amount of out of sport time due to injury.   

TAPZ performance program offers our young athletes what, how, why and when to work out properly, along with giving some nutritional strategies to help keep the body healthy.  

Illustrated in the following three diagrams are the foundations and subsequent performance matrix that makes up the high performing athlete.  It is the essentials for continued success regardless of chosen sports!
